Yeronga State High School provides opportunities for all students, irrespective of background and ability, to access a broad range of knowledge skills and competencies. Facilities: Auditorium, Hall, Sport Centre, Volleyball, Basketball (1 court), Badminton (4 courts), Netball (1 court).
Subjects/Electives Years 7 to 10: Core subjects – English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, The Arts, Health & Physical Education, Languages and Technology.
Subjects/Electives Years 11 and 12: In Years 11 and 12, students continue their journey towards attaining a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). The qualification is internationally acknowledged and recognises the broad range of learning, including senior school subjects, vocational education and training (VET), workplace and community learning, and university subjects undertaken while at school.
Sport: Interschool competitions in both summer and winter.
Extracurricular activities: Drama activities, musical performances, and dance activities, debating, leadership programs such as Goals and Aspirations.
Welfare and personal development: Guidance Officer, a School Nurse and Learning Support and Special Needs teachers.
