Established in West Hoxton by the Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation in 2000, the college occupies 7.3 hectares of semi-rural land 10 kilometres west of Liverpool. Its aim is to provide high-quality education at an affordable price within a caring Christian environment.
Facilities: Contemporary learning modules each with four classrooms, seminar rooms, reading rooms and a central learning centre. The college is also equipped with specialist science laboratories as well as design and technology, wood technology, food technology, electronics, hospitality, visual arts and music rooms, a gymnasium and performing arts centre. Outdoor sporting facilities include covered areas, playing fields and basketball courts, with plans to build more sporting facilities in the near future.
Electives Years 9 and 10: These currently include Music, French, Visual Arts, Drama, Commerce, Computing Studies, Food Technology and Wood Technics, and Technical Drawing.
Electives Years 11 and 12: These currently include Ancient and Modern History, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Design and Technology, Drama, Entertainment (Dual Accredited VET Course), Geography, Industrial Technology, Food Technology, Economics, Hospitality (Dual Accredited VET Course), Information Processing Technology, Legal Studies, Mathematics, Modern History, Music, PDHPE, Sports Science, Physics, Society & Culture, Visual Arts, (Extension Courses are offered in English and Mathematics).
Sport: The school has a comprehensive PE and fitness program from preparatory to Year 12, and participates in inter-school sports, swimming, cross-country, and athletics through the NASSA competitions at state level.
Extracurricular activities: Opportunities for students to learn musical instruments, play chess, participate in public speaking and debating competitions, belong to fitness, leisure and Christian groups as well as leadership and community service programs. The college also runs the Duke Of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme.
Welfare and personal development: There is a strong pastoral care and student welfare program, Christian studies, gifted and talented programs, an explicit code of behaviour, and a strict uniform code. There is a strong emphasis on personal responsibility. All staff embody the precepts taught.
