Since 1966, Salisbury East High School has proudly delivered a quality educational service to adolescents and young adults in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.
The school caters for 950 students in Years 8 to 12 and is situated in the North Adelaide Region.
Facilities: Music Technology, Computer Aided Design and Digital Photography, Gym, Home Economics and Technical Studies buildings, cafeteria.
Electives Years 7 to 10: LOTE is Chinese and Indonesian (with Modern Greek being phased out, but pathways to Senior Years being honoured). Students can focus on Specialist Music in their Arts line.
Electives Years 11 and 12: English, Mathematics, Science, Society & Environment and Vocational, SACE program, VET programs per year, LOTE focus school, Chinese and Indonesian.
Sport: State knockout, northern zone activities.
Extracurricular activities: Active school concert band.
Welfare and personal development: Career advice and vocational counselling, general counselling, Student Mentoring Program, NEP support, AET, AEW and Focus Room (withdrawal room).
Special features: Vocational pathways for those interested in apprenticeships, traineeships or further training. Vocational streams offered include include Automotive, Building and Construction, Food and Hospitality, Music Technology and Retail.
