Mitchelton State High School is located on a leafy, 11-hectare site with landscaped grounds and well developed sporting facilities. Year 10 electives: Childcare Studies (Certificate III in Children’s Services) and Land Management (Certificate I in Conservation & Land Management).
Subjects/Electives Years 11 and 12: Year 11 and 12 students study six subjects, selected from a wide range of offerings which include authority registered subjects as well as vocational education and training certificate courses, traineeships and apprenticeships offered both through the school and external training providers. The study of English, English for ESL learners or English communication is compulsory and a mathematics subject is highly recommended.
