An education at Oxford Falls Grammar School will develop within each student a spirit of enquiry and a love of learning. It is a vibrant Christian co-educational school from Kindergarten through to Year 12. The school, located in the leafy surrounds of Sydney’s Northern Beaches, contains expansive playing fields and specific areas for students to develop and grow socially, physically and academically.
Oxford Falls Grammar School understands the importance of a child’s educational journey throughout their school years. At OFGS, teachers recognise and understand the individual academic needs of each student and address this through personalised learning techniques in each classroom. Facilities: The spacious grounds of the Junior and Senior School campuses are designed to maximise the learning, sociability and physical activity of students. The modern buildings and expansive landscaped grounds provide a wonderful environment for school life at OFGS. Both the Senior and Junior School enjoy excellent resources in the classrooms along with access to exceptional campus facilities. Expansive outdoor areas include a full-sized football field, a designated K-2 area with interactive playground, a Junior School oval and adventure playground.
The Performing Arts space has purpose-built Dance and Drama studios, five music tuition rooms and one production studio, an acoustic music room, an electronic music studio, and a dedicated concert and stage band rehearsal room.
The school’s K–12 Learning Resource Centre provides a comprehensive and contemporary range of resources and services for students and staff. Information and communication technologies are integrated into each classroom including laptops and smart boards. MACs are available for creative arts subjects, including Music, Visual Arts and Multimedia.
Senior School electives: A comprehensive list of subjects is offered for Years 7 to 12 and includes Business Studies, Technological and Applied Studies, Visual Arts, Music, Dance, Drama, PD/Health/PE, History, Social Sciences and Science. Co-curricular activities: There are opportunities to pursue many extra-curricular activities in representative sport, music, dance and drama.
Gifted and Talented: The Gifted and Talented program offers students from Kindergarten through to Year 12 the opportunity to optimise their abilities through a variety of enrichment classes and activities. The Learning Support program provides a warm and inclusive environment for students who need additional help.
