Hervey Bay State High School has approximately 860 students and provides quality education for both male and female students in Years 8 to 12. Because of its unique location and resources, the school is able to offer a wide curriculum including marine studies, information and communication technologies, agricultural science, Vocational education Programs, traineeships and apprenticeships, first year university subjects through the University of Southern Queensland, as well as the full traditional range of subjects.
