Dalby Christian College is a co-educational, non-denominational P-12 Christian Boarding School that was established in 1981 with the purpose of educating, nurturing and disciplining young people to be all that they were created to be.
The school offers secondary boarding in a small family-styled boarding facility with each student having their own room containing a bed, desk, wardrobe and bedside table. Students benefit greatly in being part of a small school community where each child is known by name, gets the personal attention in class and develops lasting relationships.
The College has a strong evangelical ethos grounded in Christian values. The values and model taught are of great importance in developing young people of outstanding character. The College values are based on Biblical principles and include truth, love, faith, integrity, honour, courage and diligence. Its aim is to develop young men and women who will make a difference in the world through the application of these values.
The College’s academic program is aligned with the Queensland Studies Authority and the National Curriculum and is taught from a Christian world view. Dalby Christian College offers a broad range of subjects to cater for all learners and career paths. The curriculum is supplemented by a strong house system involving sports and cultural activities, a popular music tuition program and successful choirs, camping and mission trips.
