MOUNT ANNAN CHRISTIAN COLLEGE

Mount Annan Christian College, established in 1998 and located in a
semi-rural environment, is committed to raising this generation of young people
to become strong leaders and effective adults in their community.

Facilities: On 14 hectares of land, the college facilitates an
agriculture plot, full-size sporting fields, cricket pitches, basketball courts
and cross-country track. The college also boasts a large comprehensive library
with several computers and connection to the internet. Other facilities are
computer labs, art room with fully functioning pottery kiln, state-of-the-art
design & technology equipment.

Electives Years 7 to 10: Art, Music, Physical Education, Design
& Technology, French, Agricultural Technology, Commerce, Dance, Drama, Food
Technology, Information and Software Technology, Physical Activities and Sport
Studies, Textiles Technology, Visual Arts.

Electives Year 11 to 12: Agriculture, Ancient History, Biology,
Business Studies, Chemistry, Community & Family Studies, Information
Processes & Technology, Dance, Design & Technology, Drama, Economics,
English (Standard, Advanced, Extension 1, Extension 2), Geography, Legal
Studies.

Sport: In-school and inter-school sporting activities include
athletics, basketball, soccer, cricket, swimming, touch football,
cross-country.

Extracurricular activities: dance, music, mathematics and english
competitions, writing competitions, music productions, Small Business projects.

Welfare and personal development: Mount Annan Christian College
bases its education and welfare policies on Biblical principles, with pastoral
care workers for all age levels. Special-education facilities are available as
well as facilities for gifted and talented students.
