The college aims to help develop each student, encouraging and fostering intellectual, manual and social skills. Uniform is compulsory.
Facilities: The college has modern buildings featuring a wide range of workshops, a drama studio, computer centre, technology centre, library, a new basketball stadium, an auditorium, VCE study annex, as well as textiles and design specialist facilities.
Curriculum: There is a broad range of subjects offered to students from Year 7 to VCE. The college is a provider of VCAL, VET and VCE subjects. The college runs several high-achiever programs for students in Years 7, 8 and 9. Work experience is part of the curriculum.
Sport:VCAL basketball and VCAL dance is offered in addition to athletics, swimming, basketball, gymnastics, soccer and football. There are carnivals for swimming, athletics and cross-country.
Extra-curricular activities: Student clubs include computer, pets, social service, chess, dance, poets on parade, readers’ theatre, college farm and student leadership. Other school events include a debutante ball, camping programs, an annual musical production, drama nights and concerts.
Student welfare programs: The college offers a strong transition program for students moving from primary to secondary school. Students in Years 7 to 9 work closely with a small group of core team teachers. Extensive career guidance and course counselling is offered.
