De La Salle is a Catholic boys’ school, established in 1916, catering for students from Years 7 to 12.
Facilities: The recently constructed multi-purpose hall, drama theatre and new science labs have provided up-to-date facilities for the delivery of a 21st-century education. Part of the college’s recent upgrade includes fully air-conditioned music classrooms with adjoining soundproof practice rooms and a keyboard lab. Computer facilities are available in most classrooms as well as in six specialist computer labs. Most classrooms feature an interactive whiteboard and all students in Years 7, 8 and 9 have their own wireless laptop computers.

Sport: The college is part of the Metropolitan Catholics Colleges Association (MCC) Competition. Competition sports include athletics, basketball, cricket, cross-country, golf, rugby league and union, soccer, squash, swimming, tennis and volleyball. Recreational sports include all of the above as well as gym training, ice-skating, indoor soccer, rock climbing, tenpin bowling and T-ball.
Extracurricular activities: Art exhibitions, band, camps, chess club, choir, computer club, debating, drama productions, retreats, musical performances, public speaking, Shakespeare Festival, theatre club, work placement.
Welfare and personal development: The school aims to meet a broad range of needs and interests through a diverse curriculum and has established an extensive pastoral care system within a Catholic ethos. Students in need are assisted by a counsellor, a chaplain, and special education and ESL staff.
