Park Ridge State High School values learning, integrity and teamwork. The school was established in 1991 on the Southern outskirts of Brisbane. Over the years the school has built a strong tradition of high achievement through effort.

Subjects/ Electives Years 7 to 10: Core subjects – English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, HPE and LOTE (these comprise the majority of a junior student’s timetable).
Sport: Park Ridge State High School is very competitive and proud to be involved in more than 16 sports offered through Queensland school sport including the AFL Academy and Volleyball program.
Extracurricular activities: Student council, Fundraisers – Park Ridge You’ve Got Talent, SCIMS barbecue, Environmental Plan, Enable funding, Primary Leadership workshops, student-run assemblies, Sport Clubs (such as Park Ridge Pirates), instrumental music such as SCIMS CAMP and festivals, Choir, PRSHS show/musical, tutorials, Talent Quest, Arts Night.
Special features: More than 900 computers available for student learning and the school has fulfilled the 1:1 ratio from the National Secondary School Computer Fund for Years 9 to 12.
