The central purpose of Clermont State High School is to create a safe, tolerant and disciplined environment within which students prepare to be active and reflective Australian citizens with a disposition to lifelong learning. They will learn skills in preparation to participate in and shape community, economic and political life in Queensland and the nation. They will be able to engage confidently with other cultures at home and abroad.
Key to the school’s successful operation is the caring and supportive culture of Clermont State High School reflected in its mission of ‘Learning for life’. Interactions between staff, students and parents are based on our core values of Respect, Trust, Tolerance, Justice, Honesty, Care, Excellence, Integrity and Studentship.
Clermont State High School has traditionally catered for young people from the town of Clermont. In 2003, the school extended its ability to provide a caring and supportive education to students from further afield with the opening of Blair House, which offers superior, five-day, boarding accommodation at very competitive prices.
